What kind of power would you like?
As messy as it could get, if I had a superpower it would be to teleport. As a sometimes late lady living overseas, this would be quite convenient when accessed in times of homesickness just as much as when running behind for dinner plans.
How would it manifest? What would enable it?
Naturally, it would manifest via a super nifty disguise “ring” that simply had to be positioned and pressed a certain way. I’d probably whisper a secret code word when using it for added dramatic effect.
Who is your favourite superhero, contemporary or imagined?
My mother. As a single, full time working, three baby bearing, triathlon running, social butterfly fluttering woman, there is no way that she could be anything other than a superhero. She denies it but I am totally on to her.
What inspires you about Frida and/or Freda?
Turning the tables by asking what doesn’t? Honestly, I am humbled to know the visionary creators and be amongst the collection of inspirational females representing the power of positivity and influence of powerful gals of all shapes, ages and races. As one, I believe it is crucial for women to constantly uplift one another - especially in a society steered toward competition. This project is one that will instead embark down a path leading to a new era of collaboration.
