What kind of power would you like?
Ultimate mind control.
How would it manifest? What would enable it?
This power would enable complete control over anything that triggers thought; therefore, gaining self contentment that is detached from any outside influences which make contentment a struggle.
Who is your favourite superhero/person/public figure, contemporary or imagined?
Funny... This is the hardest question for me to find an answer to. Who is the happiest super hero? I choose that one. But I guess if I had to choose I would say... Mums, because they squeeze babies out of their bellies and that sounds hard.
What do you admire most about Frida Kahlo and "Freda" Josephine Baker?
Frida Kahlo looked like she could kick ass, and the fact that her art was self portraits makes this more impressive. I think she was content with being herself. Honestly, the name Josephine Baker didn't mean much to me until google informed me of her full and charismatic life. By the sounds of it she lived... I admire that!
What do you think of when you think of them?
Freedom, uninhibited, life loving freedom.
What would you change in Melbourne? Australia? The world?
The negativity! If we could inject more positivity into our media I think this would make a huge improvement to the world as we know it.
Are there any other issues that are important to you? Locally? Globally?
Right now, safety is a huge concern of mine. To my knowledge, statistically, the crime rate has been rising due to illicit drug use. All I know is that I feel unsafe walking outside.
Do you feel like change is possible in these areas? How?
I hope so, but it will be gradual. A positive outlook would be a good start.
Do you think your ideas could change anything?
The damage caused by general, negative attitudes runs pretty deep as far as I can tell. I think my ideal positive outlook could change a lot!
Are you comfortable speaking your mind/putting ideas into the world?
It's uncomfortable, yet I feel strongly about this... So yes, if I could only find the right way to articulate it.
Do you consider yourself a feminist? Womanist? Why/why not? What does this mean to you?
I was told years ago that to be a feminist then I would have to hate the idea of a guy buying me dinner on a date... But I think that's a nice idea... So I don't know where that leaves me.
How often do you subconsciously/consciously think about your desired superpower when you dress on a daily basis?
I guess subconsciously, always. I dress the way I 'should'.
